During the programme/project period, our team facilitated the poor farmers to augment their household income by three to four folds through management of optimum use of irrigation water, practicing improved technologies and adopting mixed farming feasible to their respective tube-well command areas. We suggested the State handover few public tube-wells to the societies of command area farmers who are the real user of the irrigation water. The Govt. responded positively to our suggestion. The tube-wells managed by the societies of command area farmers were not only successful but also raised profits, which had been used for benefit of the command area community.
